List Of Scholarships Offered

Excellence Scholarship 

Aims to attract outstanding and distinguished high school students from the top in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Benefits: A monthly reward of 1000 Saudi Riyals, Semester economy class tickets for students from outside the Medina region.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

Applicants must have a weighted average of 95% or more. 

Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (One year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 100% 

Number of Seats: 20 

Scholarship for the children of University employees and affiliated bodies 

This scholarship program provides scholarships for undergraduate students who are children of university employees, offering encouragement and appreciation for their efforts.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The applicant must be the son or daughter of one of the employees of the university or its affiliated bodies with the submission of documents indicating this. 

A cumulative GPA of no less than 2 out of 4 must be maintained 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 100%

National Scholarships 

Scholarship for the children of martyrs of duty

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

Provides scholarship programs specifically for children of martyrs of duty in all sectors. This is one of our most valued scholarship programs, recognizing sacrifices made for the nation. 

Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 100% 

Number of Seats: Open 

Excellence Scholarship A 

Targets outstanding male and female students who have a weighted percentage of 90% or more.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The applicant must have a weighted percentage of 90% or more 

Maintain a cumulative average of no less than 3.0 out of 4 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 80% 

Number of Seats: 24 

Excellence Scholarship B 

Targets outstanding male and female students who have a weighted percentage of 85% or more.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The applicant must have a weighted percentage of 85% or more 

Maintain a cumulative average of no less than 3.0 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 60% 

Number of Seats: 36 

Gifted Scholarship 

It is offered to talented students who have obtained a weighted percentage of 80% or more, this is a unique opportunity within our scholarship programs.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The applicant must have a weighted percentage of 80% 

The applicant must have a score of at least 1200 in the talent scale Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 60% 

Number of Seats: 10 

International Student Scholarship 

It is offered to international students who meet the university's admission requirements.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

Obtain a regular Visa as a student. 

Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (One year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship percentage: 40% 

Number of Seats: Open 

First Category Scholarship 50% 

Offered to male and female students who graduated from high school.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The applicant must have a weighted percentage of 70% or more. 

The applicant must have a percentage of 75% or more in high school. 

Maintain a cumulative average of no less than 2 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship Percentage: 50% 

Number of seats: open 

Second Category Scholarship 30% 

For students who did not achieve the necessary scores for the first category, this scholarship program offers a partial reduction of fees.

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

Maintain a cumulative average of no less than 2 out of 4. 

The period specified for the completion of the study should not exceed 5 years (one year in the preparatory program and four years in the specialization). 

Scholarship Percentage: 30% 

Number of Seats: Open 

Sibling Discount 10% & 5% 

This discount is for students who are enrolled in studies and have regular siblings studying at the university.

10% to be added to the regular student 

5% added to the new student 

Conditions for joining and maintaining the scholarship:

The total percentage of scholarship awarded to a student with a discount should not exceed 60% 

When one of the siblings receiving the discount graduates, the discount continues for the other sibling. 

When one of the siblings withdraws from the university, the discount for the other sibling stops.

1: How much does a semester cost? 
The semester fees for the College of Engineering majors are 33,000 riyals, the semester fees for the College of Business and Tourism majors are 30,000 riyals, the semester fees for the College of Computer Science and Cyber ​​Sciences majors are 30,000 riyals / the semester fees for the International Hospitality major are 42,500 riyals.
2: Can I come at any time to complete the admission procedures and join the scholarship? 
It is necessary to complete the admission procedures and pay the tuition fees before the start of the semester, noting that the scholarship seats are limited and priority is given to those who have completed the admission procedures and paid the fees.
3: Are the fees refundable if the student decides to withdraw from the semester?

4: When is the start and end date of registration? 
Registration starts on 06/25/2024 and ends on 08/30/2024
5: Are university admissions and scholarships for Saudis only? 
University admissions and scholarships for Saudis, non-Saudis, visitors and international students
6: When does a student move to study the major? 
The student moves to study the major if he/she completes the preparatory year courses with the required grade or takes the IELTS test with a score of 5 or TOEFL with a score of 500 or equivalent.
7: Can an equivalency be made for students transferred from other universities? 
Yes, and to submit equivalency requests, the transcript and course descriptions must be sent, stamped and certified by the university where the student studied, in pdf format through the electronic form, and it is required that the equivalency be submitted before the start of the semester
8: How many years of study at the university? 
The total number of years of study is 5 years (4 years of specialization + preparatory year)
9: Is there admission for the second semester? 
Yes, there is admission for the second semester
10: Can I apply to the university while I am registered at another university? 
A student can apply to the university while he is registered in another university, and he must withdraw before starting his studies at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University.
11: Do I have the right to withdraw after confirming acceptance and paying fees? 
Yes, the student has the right to withdraw after confirming acceptance and paying fees, after submitting a release form from the university. The tuition fee refund policy applies to withdrawn students.
12: Do I have the right to apply for a bachelor's degree after completing the diploma? 
Yes, a diploma graduate has the right to apply to the university and equate the subjects that
