Dr. Hussein El-Sayyed Center

Overview

University of Prince Mugrin (UPM) is an ambitious university that aims to provide high-quality education. To this end, Dr. Hussein El-Sayyed Center for Scientific Research (HRIC) was founded to establish a vibrant research environment.

The HRIC supports the educational process by involving students in practical research projects, making it a valuable asset for those wanting to study in Saudi Arabia. but it also supports the educational process by providing scientific consultations and training to the students and the community. Moreover, HRC provides mentorship and support for faculty members ((i.e. junior researchers) and students by involving them in research projects.

This will give the students a chance to build a practical research experience. HRIC aspires to become a recognized research center of excellence in the dissemination and application of knowledge related to the Vision2030 themes, national priorities and university’s research areas. A key focus is based on applying state-of-the-art research knowledge to serve national needs and community services.

HRIC targets self-sustaining revenue channels by attracting local and regional organizations to engage in collaborations and partnership projects. HRIC is aligned with the research and innovation strategic plan of UPM which addresses economic and industrial sectors targeting the societal issues and community challenges.
