Objectives of the Scientific Research Award
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is a leader in engineering and computer science education and research, providing its students with top quality degrees and experiential learning experiences to prepare them to meet the ever-changing needs of society.
Award Criteria
This award has various criteria for classifying different types of research work (research outputs) applied to the award by providing guidelines for classifying each type of submission.
The following are the applicable types:
Research in scientific journals classified as ISI.
Research in scientific journals classified as SCOPUS or others.
Research in conferences.
Abstracts/posters of conferences.
Patents.
Grants for research projects (applied and scientific).
This criterion classifies the research award into two tracks: the scientific research track and the research projects track.
