The main purpose of the Marketing Department at UPM is to offer students in-depth training in marketing related issues. The marketing major is an innovative program designed to support the KSA Vision 2030 and the future needs of job markets locally and globally. 

About Department

The main purpose of the Marketing Department at UPM is to offer students in-depth training in marketing related issues. The marketing major is an innovative program designed to support the KSA Vision 2030 and the future needs of job markets locally and globally. The program is designed to equip graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to hold any marketing position and be prepared to address the challenges posed by today’s changing and demanding business environment. To achieve its objectives, the Marketing major relies on: The development of the entrepreneurial spirit through case study analyses. Tools and methods for developing professional and relational skills. Instructors with academic experience and professional expertise in the marketing field. A mandatory internship allow students to gain field experience within businesses and apply theoretical knowledge in practice. A friendly and well-equipped academic environment. The opportunity to discover marketing jobs through profession-oriented courses (product manager, communication manager, web marketer). At the end of their training, students will be able to design and manage marketing strategies, implement, and monitor operational plans, and conduct market research. The skills acquired at the end of the marketing major will allow students to apply for marketing positions in almost every industry and sector, in line with the orientations provided by KSA Vision 2030.
