Excellence Awards at Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz University - Fifth Edition

Overview

The University of Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz (UPM) was founded on excellence and creativity. This is driven by the vision of the university’s founder, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz - may God Preserve him - whose strategy revolved around three words: excellence, excellence, and excellence.

The University of Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Awards aim to appreciate distinguished and creative people. They are awards of appreciation, allocated by a number of individuals who are the founders and supporters of the university. Celebrating the distinguished faculty members, students and employees, and in appreciation of their efforts in serving science and the academic life.

The university’s excellence awards have five branches, which we summarize as follows:

- First: His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman Award for distinguished Students, it is given annually to eight students.

- Second: His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Muqrin (may God have mercy on him) Award for Academic Excellence, which consists of four awards, awarded annually to distinguished faculty members according to specific criteria set by the award committee.

- Third: Alsheikh Ibrahim bin Abdul Fattah Julaidan Award - may Allah have mercy on him - for the distinguished employee, which is granted annually for distinguished performance by university employees, according to specific criteria set by the award Committee.
