About Business Management

The purpose of the Department of Management is to disseminate knowledge of successful business leadership strategies and practices through the creation of a supportive and innovative learning environment, with a focus on undergraduate education.  Through its primary mission of teaching that draws on the cultural diversity and entrepreneurial energy of the Gulf Region, it enables students to become effective professionals and leaders.  The Management Department emphasizes excellence in course content and teaching methods in its programs.  Collectively, the department is a committed, resourceful, student-centered faculty, working to make sure that the learning environment supports each student's opportunity to maximize their potential. The faculty engages in collaborative activities with businesses, industries, and other institutions, locally and internationally, to gain, disseminate and apply knowledge.
