Payment Methods

At UPM, we are constantly trying to opt for better and easier payment methods. Thus, the financial department provides different payment methods to pay tuition fees.

Withdrawal and Refund Tuition Policies

For first and second semesters

Dropping out before the first day of semester 95% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the first week of the semester 80% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the second week of the semester 65% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the third week of the semester 50% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the fourth week of the semester 25% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the fifth week of the semester No tuition fees refunded

For Summer semester

Dropping out before the first day of semester 95% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the first four days of the semester 80% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the fifth day of the semester 65% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the sixth day of the semester 50% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out in the seventh day of the semester 25% of tuition fees refunded
Dropping out after the seventh day of the semester No tuition fees refunded

 

UNIVERSITY POLICIES AND IMPORTANT NOTICES

  • Tuition fees are set according to the student major subjects.
  • All tuition fees should be paid in full at the time of registration. Divided into two installments: one at the beginning of each semester. No division of installments is accepted.
  • The University of Prince Mugrin is entitled to suspend student services of those who did not pay their tuition fee in full or who did not commit to their payment plans. These services include (subjects registration, logging into the SIS system and obtaining the lecture timetable).
  • Student’s registration will not be official unless tuition fees agreed on with the financial department were paid in full.
  • Scholarship holders (Al-Bayan Charity Foundation) must sign their scholarship enrolment statement and commit to its contents.
  • Postponing your study should be applied before the beginning of the semester, whilst eliminating one subject or more, or dropping out from one subject or more should be after the semester beginning.
  • If a student drops out completely or drops just one semester, tuition refund policies shall be applied.
  • Late registration fees are calculated starting the following day of the registration deadline date, in accordance with the academic calendar.
  • If a student pays his/her admission fees and does not enroll in the University for more than a year. He/ she should pay admission fees again.
  • Summer semester and visiting students’ tuition fees are calculated similarly to attending students fees. Thus, tuition refunds policies are applied.
  • Students enrolled in the University of Prince Mugrin (UPM) can benefit from the education financing agreement with Aljazeera Bank which provides students with an interest-free loan to cover their tuition fees.
